Rear Windows

Lydia and I squeezed the rear windows in (barely). After wrestling with glass and seals for an hour, we discovered bicycle tire levers worked the best. We put the seals on the glass first, then stretched the inside lip of the seal over the ridge on the car using the levers. One of us had to apply inward pressure on the glass also. Im not sure if this was the correct procedure since it seemed to be the opposite of how to install a windshield, but it worked best for us.

Front Subframe

After cutting some of the sheet metal from the side of the engine bay, the subframe fit quite well. Now it needs to be powdercoated.

Tail Lights Installed

Since the rubber seals are no longer manufactured, I had to buy a sheet and make all the seals using a paper template. It took quite some time. Too bad they werent available to buy.

Doors Mounted

Hung the doors on the car, they fit well, but the bolts were hard to line up. Luckily Lydia helped out.

Window Frames Installed

The window frames i made earlier went in very nicely. The pop-rivets were easy, i just had one that didnt pop off properly and scratched the frame a little. I think i should have made the frames out of aluminum for weight savings, but ive never welded aluminum before and took the easy way out.

Switches / Interior

Ill get some pictures of the seats also. The switch panel is supposed to have a choke cable on the far right, and a knob for the heater on the left. This car doesnt have a push/pull control for the cable, like ive seen on most minis, but only a knob to turn on the heater fan.
